The Attack Helicopter is spawnable via custom smoke signals purchased from the shop menu. Like Bradley, it's designed as a high-risk, high-reward boss encounter that becomes increasingly challenging at higher difficulties.
Important: Purchasing multiple helicopter signals of the same type on the same day causes the price to slowly increase. Prices reset at the end of each day.

Loot scales with difficulty level, and points invested in the Combat skill tree can significantly impact the outcome of fights. Higher difficulties offer better rewards and server-wide XP bonuses.

The Patrol Helicopter has two critical weakpoints that can destroy it regardless of remaining health. Understanding and exploiting these weakpoints is key to efficient kills.
WEAKPOINT LOCATIONS
HOW WEAKPOINTS WORK
When you hit the rotors, you'll deal damage as normal. After enough hits, the rotors will light on fire and be destroyed shortly after, dealing massive percentile damage to the helicopter's total health.
Visual Indicator: Hits on weakpoints are visible as metal debris flying off the helicopter on bullet impact.
Scaling: The main rotor and tail rotor health scales with the helicopter's main health. Higher difficulties require more hits to destroy the rotors.
Instant Kill: If both weakpoints are destroyed, the Patrol Helicopter is destroyed immediately, ignoring its remaining health.

PRIMARY WEAPON
Note: While M249 is recommended, the helicopter can be taken down with most guns. Bullets are significantly more effective than rockets due to the helicopter's mobility.
BEST-IN-SLOT WEAPON
The Golden M249 provides a massive 50% bonus to all damage dealt to helicopters, making it the best weapon for helicopter encounters.
SURVIVAL ITEMS
Stock your hotbar with healing items that can be spammed while dealing damage and reloading. Elite and Legendary helicopters are extremely aggressive and deal massive damage.

Utilize the protection of the Heli Tower Islands to hide undercover when damage becomes too great to sustain. These custom islands provide proper space and protection for helicopter fights.
